Well, it's only been 4 months since I totalled my JDM TT 2+2 and I already have another Z. It didn't take long. I managed to find a '93 TT 2+0 at a dealership in Florida. I was a little worried about going sight unseen but I feel it was a safe decision in my case. I did quite a bit of research and also got several opinions and this seemed like a safe bet. A recent potential buyer paid $100 to run a Carchex inspection but then decided to back out on the deal. The inspection report was online and I was able to snag a copy. Click here to view the detailed report. It also had over 60 pics in it from all different angles. They pointed out every flaw that the inspector found. This saved me from having to pay a mechanic to check out the car and with all the detailed pics, I couldn't have revealed any more even if I saw it in person. The Carfax report also came back clean for the most part. I can fix all the problems the inspector found so I'm not too worried about that. I got the car for $7,695. The out-the-door price with tax, tag, & title was $8,645. I just paid for it and I'll pick it up when I get home next month. Here are some pics from the Carchex report.
